Oh, that's in Trillian? Do you still have your beta credentials? Should be easy enough to drop in a bug report.

@Jareth: I have to test further, but I think it might actually have been charging even though it said it wasn't. I'm pretty sure I recall it being at 50% battery before a big sync, and 55% afterward.@Ian: Hah, point. Though I was trying to keep it iPad specific, and that's a problem with the iPhone version of Trillian, too. ;) I think it's something they can change in software; I've seen some programs have the Send button near the actual area that text is going into, so little chance of accidentally hitting it.@Bobbo: Depends on what you're reading, and under what conditions. I think Kindle is better if you're doing long-term reading (like spending a few hours at a chunk reading), due to the eInk technology. Longer battery life, and less eye strain. Also looks a lot better in very sunny areas, so if you read outside a lot in Florida, then Kindle is better. But that said, ceteris paribus I'd go for the iPad. I say this with some amount of ignorance, as I've only briefly played with the Kindle.

If I were planning to ONLY use it as a Kindle replacement, do you think it is worth getting?

No mention of the send button being perilously close to the spacebar?

Seriously tho, this jives with what I have been hearing about it as well. The main issue I had a problem with is the charging. and the app to screen ratio. Grown up versions tend to lose some of the quality
